                     Study From the Book of Zechariah, 5

     Today we will study chapter four of this rich book of the Bible. Chapter four contains the fifth vision of the Lamp stand and the Olive Trees. As mentioned before, Zechariah saw 8 visions in one night. All those visions have prophetic implication and application for the bible scholars and believers who are interested  in studying the Bible.  But for us, we concentrate on the biblical principles of chapter 4    and how we can apply those principles in biblical counselling.

    Today as usual, we have two great principles and lessons from them and I pray that these verses have a great application in our lives.

Principle 7, verses 4:6-7: “ –Not by might , nor by power, but by My Spirit, says the Lord of hosts—who are you great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain.”

Lesson 7: great verses, do not need comments as they explain themselves. With the Holy Spirit in us, no difficulties, whatever those difficulties, can overcome us.

Principle 8 verse 4:10: “For who has despised the day of small things?”

Lesson 8: Never despise the “small” things God asks you to do, for a basic principle of spiritual growth is that God gives “bigger” and “greater” things and responsibilities to those who faithfully handle the “small things” Luke 16:10).
