                                    Study From the Book of Zechariah, 3

     Today we study chapter 2 of the book, and as usual we pick up a couple of biblical principles that can be applied in biblical counselling.

     In chapter two the prophet talks about the second vision which is the vision of the measuring line. What concern us here is the biblical principles and what we learn of  lessons from these principles.

     As mentioned especially in this chapter, the prophet talks about the end of the age when the Lord Jesus will reign physically at the millennium, after the rupture of the church,followed by  the great tribulation when the Israelites repent their major sin of crucifying the Lord and return to God as a nation, however there are a couple of biblical blessings that can be applied in our lives as believers now.

Principle 3, (verse 2:5) “For I, “says the Lord, “will be a wall of fire around her, and I will be the glory in her midst.”

Lesson3:  we can trust God’s promises because He puts His heart and His infinite power into making sure they come to pass, just as He promised.

Principle 4, (verse 2:10) “Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion! For behold, I am coming and I will dwell in your midst,”

Lesson 4:  when we know that God is with us and that He desires to enjoy intimate fellowship with us, how can we not break out in song and rejoice with all our hearts.
