                      Study From the Book of Zechariah, 14

     Today is the final part of this series. Chapter 14 talks about the Day of the Lord. The Day of the Lord has been explained in many of the minor prophets will start with night (tribulation and the great tribulation for seven years) then the daytime.  The latter starts with the victory of the Lord and the judgement of the livings, then the Lord will reigns for 1000 years. He physically reigns in Jerusalem over the whole world.

     This important fact of the millennium still confuse many Christians even the true believers but it is a  biblical fact been taught especially in minor prophets also in many other parts of the scripture like the book of Daniel and been confirmed in the Book of revelation of the Bible.

NB this earthy kingdom will be on the remnants   of the Israelites and other nation who accepted the Lord Jesus as a Saviour. The Church has been already taken by the rupture that occur earlier before those events 

However, our interest as usual from this series or others is focused on biblical principles that can be applied in biblical counselling.

Principle 27 verse 14:8: “ And in that day it shall be that living waters shall flow from Jerusalem..”

Lesson 27: Water brings life, and living water brings eternal life. God calls Himself our spring water (Jer. 2:13);the Spirit is a stream of living water in us (John 7:38,39): and His living water is ours forever (Rev.7:17).

Principle 28: verse 14:19- “In that day it shall be – “The Lord is one,” and His name is one.”

Lesson: Today, many voices honour and serve many gods. But one day, the Lord says , “To Me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall take an oath.”  (Is. 45:23)- and they shall all say, “Jesus Christ is Lord” Phil. (2:11)
