Study From the Book of the Second Corinthians,4
Today we continue in studying the book of the second Corinthians where we study chapter three. There are three main topics in this chapter which can be outlines as follow:
As usual we are looking for a couple of biblical principles and lessons that can be applied in biblical counselling.
Principle 5, verse 3:17: “Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where is the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.”
Lesson 5: When the Lord Jesus comes into a human heart by faith , through the Spirit, He sets that person free from the bondage of sin, the chains of death, and the futile attempt of trying to become righteous through self-effort.
Principle 6, verse 3:18: “But we all , with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory.”
Lesson 8: God is after transformed lives, not merely reformed ones. Part of that transformation happens, as we train our minds to focus on the person of Jesus. As we mediate on Him,the Spirit begins moulding us into His image. 23/12/2018
