Study From the Book of the Second Corinthians,3
Today we study chapter 2 of this vital Epistle of Paul and as usual we pick up a couple of biblical principles and lessons that can be applied in biblical counselling.
In chapter 2, the apostle Paul talks about three main topics:
Principle 3, verse 2:4: “- For out of much affliction and anguish of heart I wrote to you, with many tears , not that you should be grieved, but that you might know the love which I have so abundantly for you.”
Lesson 3: We should never take God’s discipline as a sign of His hostility toward us or disinterest in us, but rather as a sure token of His love. His goal is never to grieve us , but to get us back on a road to life.
Principle 4: "- Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ...”
Lesson 4: Paul does not mean that things turn out the way we want, but that in Christ we are always on the road to victory. Setbacks happen, but they are never final or fatal. 16/12/2018
