Study from the Book of Second Corinthians, 13
Today we study the 12th chapter of this vital epistle of the Scripture as part 13 of the series and as usual we look at a couple of verses and lessons that can be applied in biblical counselling.
Before that we look at the main topics of this chapter which help us as we read through the passage.
Chapter 12 has three main topics as follows:
Principle 23: verse 12:9: “- Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”
Lesson 23: The gospel is full of seemingly contradictions. If you want to be first , you must be last. If you want to save your life, you must lose it. And if you want to be strong, you must glory in weakness.
Principle 24, verse 12:21: “- I shall mourn for many who have sinned before and have not repented of the uncleanness, fornication and lewdness which have practiced,”
Lesson: 24: When God’s Word condemns some practice, it is wrong regardless of how we may feel about it. It is serious thing to sin against the Lord. Knowing it is sin and not repenting of it brings the discipline of God.24/02/2019
