Study from the Book of Second Corinthians, 10
Today we study the 9th chapter of this vital epistle of Paul in this 10th part of the series and as usual we look at a couple of biblical principles and lessons that can be applied in biblical counselling.
Before that, we look at the main topics of this chapter which can help us in studying it. In chapter 9, Paul continues in talking about the collection he planned for the saints of Jerusalem.
There are two main topics
Principle 17 verse 9:8: “- And God is able to make all grace abound toward you , that you , always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.”
Lesson 17: God’s grace sustains us throughout our lives. His grace gives us our daily bread , supplies us with lungs full of air and grants us the ability to make a living. God wants an abundant life for us; His grace makes it possible.
Principle 18: verse 9:15: “- thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!”
Lesson 18: The greatest gift we could ever receive is the marvellous grace of God, which hit its apex in the gift of God’s Son, Jesus Christ. The only reason we have the privilege of giving is that God already gave far more. 3/2/2019
