Study From the Book of Romans,9

Study From The Book of Romans,9

Today is the Day of Pentecost for the Eastern countries. So we continue in dwelling in the Holy Spirit's  presence in chapter 8 of Romans. Chapter 8 starts with  a vital verse:

“ There is therefore now condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.”

Chapter 8 has main four topics:

  1. Verse 1 to 11: free from indwelling sin
  2. Verse12 to 17: Son ship through the Spirit
  3. Verse 18 to 30: from suffering to glory
  4. Verse 31: 37: God’s everlasting love.

All the verses in chapter 8 are important like every verse in the Scripture , but for us now we pick up a couple of those verses that can be applied in biblical counselling.

Principle 15, 8:28- “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.”

Lesson 15: on earth, we will never understand “all things” can work together for good for God’s children. Certainly not all things in them-selves are good-but God know how He will do it. And in Him we trust.

Principle 16, 8:31- “if God is for us, who can be against us?”

Lesson 16: All kinds of people can be against us, causing us trouble and pain and sorrow. But nothing can ultimately triumph over us. God wins and in Christ, we win with Him.
