Study From the Book of Romans,17
Now we come to the end of this vital book of the Bible. Here the apostle Paul ends the letter of Romans by greetings the saints of Rome and greetings from the saints who were with him in Corinth, the servants of God who were working with him like Timothy.
Here to note that even in this chapter that is full of greetings, there are still biblical principles and lessons that can be useful in biblical counselling.
Chapter 16 has many topics that can be titled as follows:
Principle 31, verse 16:19: “ - I want you to be wise in what is good, and simple concerning evil.”
Lesson 31: Keeping asking, what is wrong with it? This is for immature believers, not growing ones. God wants us to focus on what is good, not on what might be bad.
Principle 32, verse 16:25: “-Now to Him who is able to establish you according to my gospel.”
Lesson 32 : All Christian growth ultimately comes down to our willing partnership with God, the only One who causes that growth. “So neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase” (1 Cor. 3:7).
