Study From the Book of Romans,12

Study From the Book of Romans,12

In this part twelve of this series, we study chapter 11. We might notice that chapter 9 talks about the past of Israel, chapter 10 talks about the present status of Israel. However chapter 11 talks about the future of Israel. At the end of the age after the rupture of the church and the great tribulation, God will restore Israel after repentance. The Lord Jesus physically will reign in Jerusalem over the whole world and Istrail will be a blessing for all nations during the millennium.

This biblical fact has been explained in the OT , but here the apostle Paul confirms it.

In this context, the apostle Paul talks about this in  a two main parameters:

  1. From verse one to eleven: Israel’s rejection of the Lord is not total.
  2. From verse twelve  to the end: Israel’s rejection is not final.

What we are interested now is in biblical principles and lessons that can be applied in biblical counselling.

Principle 21, verse 11:29 “–For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.”

Lesson 21 : Salvation is irrevocable, also the gifts and calling are also irrevocable.  One we have placed our faith in Him, God will never cast us away. He will never abandon us, reject us, or turn us away. As a loving Father He will discipline us but He will never thrown us away.

Principle 22, verse 11:33- “Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgement and His ways past finding out.”

Lesson 22:  We will never completely understand God’s ways or grasp why He does what He does, but we can worship Him for the goodness, love and mercy that He has already shown!
