The Book of Philippians, 1
Today we start to study a new book in the NT which is the Epistle to the Philippians. It is a thank-you letter of Paul to the believers for their help in the hour of need. It reflects one thing which is only in Christ we experience real unity and joy.
Joy is not coming in favorable circumstances, but even in unpleasant circumstances, we experience joy . Things which had happened to Paul turned to the spread of the gospel even among the guards of the palace because a few accepted the Lord Jesus as a savior.

Structure:
Verses 1:1-11: greetings and prayers for them
Verses 1:12-26: the apostle refers to his prison and the benefit he had in the preaching the gospel
Verses 1:27-2:18: the apostle exhorts the believers to live worthy of the gospel
Verses 2:19-30: he mentions his associates
Verses 3:1-4:1: he issues some warnings
Verses 4:2-23: he concludes his letter
