Study From the Book of Micah,8
This week we study the 8th part of the series as we study the 7th and the last chapter of this rich book of the Bible. Because chapter 7 contains many biblical principles, so we study this chapter in two sections. In this first section, we study a couple of biblical principles in verses 1 to 13. This section of the book deals with two main ideas. From verse 1 to 7, deal with Israel’s sins. From verse 8 to 13 deal with Israel confession and comfort. We study one principle in each of these passages.
Principle 13, verse 7:7: “I will look to the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation; My God will hear me.”
Lesson 13: Whether we like it or not, waiting on God is a big part of our walk of faith. When we do all that we can in faith and then wait for God to do the rest, we demonstrate our trust and proclaim His faithfulness.
Principle 14, verse 7:8: “When I sit in darkness, the Lord will be a light to me.”
Lesson 14: Micah says “when” I sit in darkness, not “if.” All of us will go through difficult times. But the dark moments of our lives will last only so long as is necessary for God to accomplish His purpose in us.
