                                             Study From the Book of Micah,5

     Today we study chapter four of this rich book of the Bible. Chapter 4 , Micah prophesies about the  blessings of the Day of the Lord, in  the morning/day time when the Lord Jesus reigns for 1000 years and His future triumph ( at the end of the age after the rupture of the church according to Daniel 9). However, there are biblical principles to look at and the study of these principles teaches us the spiritual blessings in the present time, as believers in contrary to unbelievers.

Principle 7 :4:2, “ He will teach us His ways , and we shall walk in His path.” 

Lesson 7: It is the privilege of the believer that he/she has the Holy Spirit dwells in him or her. In the same word , the Lord Jesus says in John 14:26: “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit , whom the Father will send  in My name , He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.”

Principle 8: 4:12 “ But they do not know the thoughts of the Lord, nor do they understand His counsel.”

Lesson 8: It is an abrupt shift from Micah, he shifts from the blessings of the believers to the foolishness of the unbelievers. The latter do not have the Holy Spirit, so the unbeliever cannot receive the things of the Spirit of God..Nor can he know them. The same idea is in 1 Cor. 2:14.  “But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God , for they are foolishness  to him; nor can  he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.”
