Principle 2 (2:11): “For strong is the One who executes His word.”
Lesson 2: Our omnipotent Lord will use all of His power to fulfil every one of His promises. Not one of them will or can fall. That is why we can build our lives on His every word.
Principle 3 (2:13): “So rend your heart, and not your garments.”
Lesson 3: God is always after the heart not mere outward religious expression. He wants heartfelt prayer, not impressive oratory (Matt. 6; 7). He wants genuine devotion, not smug declarations (Matt. 15:8). He wants your heart.
