Study From the Book of Isaiah,7
Today is the seventh part of this series where we study chapter six. And as usual we pick up a couple of biblical principles and lessons that can be applied in biblical counselling.
In chapter 6, Isaiah describes the moment that God called him to be a prophet. At the year when the King Uzziah died, Isaiah saw the Lord setting on the throne The seraphim cried one to another saying: “holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts. The whole earth is full of His glory.” Isaiah trembled and said “Woe is me, for I am underdone! Because I am a man of unclean lips. For my eyes have seen the King, The Lord of hosts.” One of the seraphim had a live goal taking from the alter (refers to the Day of Atonement) and touched Isaiah’s mouth and said “Behold this has touched your lips. Your iniquity is taken away and your sin purged.”
Isaiah then heard the voice of the Lord saying “Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?”
Isaiah said “Here am I Send me.”
The Lord said “Go and tell this people----”
