Today is the thirtieth part of this series where we study chapter 34. And as usual we pick up a couple of biblical principles and lessons that can be useful in biblical counselling.

In this chapter, Isaiah talks about the judgment of the nations. The plundering nations will be transformed into a desert.

Structure:

Verses 1-22:The Judgement of the nations.

Principle 56 , verse 34:4 “-All the host of heaven shall be dissolved , and the heavens shall be rolled up like a scroll--”

Lesson 56: Peter saw this same staggering event., and asked, “since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness?” (2Peter 3:11).

Principle 57, verse 34:6 “-The sword of the Lord is filled with blood---”

Lesson 57:  Sin must be atoned for by sacrifice, either of the sinner himself as here, or by the substitutionary sacrifice of Christ. 6/11/2021
