Study From the Book of Isaiah,22
Today is the twenty-second part of this series where we study chapter 26. For chapter 26, there are a couple of biblical principles and lessons that can be useful in biblical counselling.
Chapter 26 consists of three sections: a pilgrim’s song celebrating the city of God, a song of trust in God and an encouraging promise that God will punish evil.
Structure:
Verses 1-19: A song of salvation.
Verses 20-21: take refuge from the coming judjement.
Principle 40, verse 26:3 “–You will keep him in perfect peace , whose mind is stayed on You, because he trust in You."
Lesson 40 : Christ is our peace within us. And, so Jesus declares, “In Me you may have peace” (John 16:33). Three elements to get this peace: 1, focus on God. 2, trust Him. 3, meditate on His Word.
Principle 41, verse 26:12: “—Lord, You will establish peace for us, for You have also done all our works in us.”
Lesson 41: To live the Christian life, is to allow Jesus to live His life in us and through us. That means that all we accomplish, we accomplish through His Spirit. And that kind of wonderful partnership results in peace. 12/9/2021
