Study From the Book of Isaiah,12
Today is the twelfth part of this series where we study chapter eleven. And as usual we pick up a couple of biblical principles and lessons that can be useful in biblical counselling.
The whole idea of chapter 11 is prophesy of the "Day of the Lord "that will occur after the rupture of the church in the later Day after the tribulation and the great tribulation.
In that Day the Lord Jesus will reign and judge all the world. “For the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea,” Verse 9.
There will be no fights and no hostility between the humans and other creatures: for example,” the wolf also shall dwell with the lamb. The leopard shall lie down with young goat,” verse 6. The blessing of earth replaces its curse that caused by the sin of Adam. The remnant of the Jewish people will return from the four corners of the earth after they repent and acknowledge the Lord Jesus as Lord and Saviour.
Structure:
Verse 1:16: the reign of Jesse’s offspring.
Principle 21, verse 11:3: “---His delight is in the fear of the Lord---"
Lesson 21 : Isaiah foresaw that the Lord Jesus would delight in the fear of God. He did not mean that Jesus would delight in the emotion so much as in the awesome, majestic, all powerful God who inspires godly fear.
Principle 22: verse 11:9: “—For the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.”
Lesson 22: We look forward to the Day when God will rule on earth as He does in heaven, a Day when righteousness will reign and evil will not be allowed to oppress anyone.4/7/2021
