Study from the Book of First Peter,6
Today is the final part of this series where we study the last chapter five. And as usual we pick up a couple of biblical principles and lessons that can be useful in biblical counselling.
In chapter 5 the apostle Peter gives advice to the elders that they should be good shepherd for the young. Serving not by compulsions but willingly. For the young they need to submit to their elders. And all to submit to one another and be clothed with humility.
He ends his letter by giving a general advice that we shout resist the devil and he will flee from us. Cast our cares on him because He cares for us. And the Lord Jesus ,after we have suffered a while, He will perfect, establish, strengthen and settle us.
He finishes by saying greetings to all brothers and sisters and peace for us all who are in Christ Jesus.
