Study From the Book of the First Corinthians,3

                             Study From the Book of First Cornithians,3

Today we study chapter 2 of this vital book of the Bible and as usual we pick up a couple of biblical principles and lessons that can be applied in biblical counselling.

In chapter 2, the apostle Paul deals with two main topics;

  1. The Crucified Christ from verse one to verse 5.
  2. The Spiritual wisdom  from verse 6 to the end of this chapter

Principle 3, verse  2:2 “– For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.”

Lesson 3: Paul could have preached about a thousand different topics, but he knew the Corinthians needed most to hear about how the death of Christ could free anyone from the power of sin.

Principle 4, verse 2:12: “-Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.”

Lesson 4: God does not want us to guess about what lies ahead for us; that is why He told us a great deal in His Word about our future and why He has given us His Spirit, to help us understand what He has revealed.12/8/2018
