Study From the Book of Ezekiel,35

Today is the thirty-fifth part of this series where we study chapter 35. Here we pick up one biblical principle and its lesson which are useful in biblical counselling.

In this chapter God, through Ezekiel, declares judgement on Mount Seir (Edom). There are two reasons for that. First, it rejoiced over the destruction of Jerusalem. Second, it expected to take over Judah and Israel after their destruction by the Babylonians.

Structure:

Verses 1-15: Judgment on Mount Seir.

Principle 54: verse 35:2 — “Son of man, set your face against Mount Seir and prophesy against it.”  

Lesson 54: God is always against those who hate us, as believers, or those who plot an evil to us. His promise is that “every weapon against you shall not prosper.”
