Study From the Book of Ezeliel,32

Study From the Book of Ezekiel,32

Today is the thirty-second part of this series where we study chapter 32. Here we pick up one biblical principle and its lesson which are useful in biblical counselling.

This chapter lines picture of Egypt and its ruler, Hophra, as a crocodile who is going to experience the judgement of God.. Egypt will be caught, killed, and consigned to darkness.

Such scene of judgement will produce mourning and great grief, but God is to be seen as just and doing what was necessary to stop people’s arrogance.

Structure:

Verses 1-16: lamination for Pharaoh and Egypt.

Verses 17-32: Egypt and others consigned to the Pit.

Principle 49, verse 32:18“—Son of man , wall over the multitude of Egypt. And cast them down to the depths of the earth. Her and the daughters of the famous nations, with those who go down to the Pit.”

Lesson 49: The Egyptians cared too much about life after death. So, they built pyramids to secure comfort for Pharaoh in eternal life. This reminds us that any trials to secure eternal life away from and ignoring God's salvation is futile thinking. God ‘s salvation through Jesus Christ is  the only guarantee for the future and life after death.26/03/2023.
