Study From the Book of Ezekiel,25
Today is the twenty-fifth part of this series where we study chapter 25. Here we pick up one biblical principle and its lesson which are useful in biblical counselling.
This chapter, God proclaims against Ammon, Moab, Edom and Philistia. Why was that? These nations surrounded Judah and helped Nebuchadnezzar in his invasion of Judah and rejoiced at destruction of Jerusalem and its temple; therefore, they would also be punished.
Structure:
Verses 1-7: proclamation against Ammon
Verses 8-11: proclamation against Moab
Verses 12-14: proclamation against Edom
Verses 15-17: proclamation against Philistia.
Principle 41, verse 25:16 “—therefore thus says the Lord God: I will stretch out My hand against the Philistines and I will cut off the Ceratites and destroy the remnant of the seacoast.”
Lesson 41: After God disciplines His people, He turns against their enemies who been used for this purpose. God is a sovereign God who controls everything(5/2/2023).
