The Book Club at Goodbooks Bookshop at Bridport, Dorset, UK 

We had a successful  book club on the 7th of September 2016 from 11-2pm at the Goodbooks Bookshop at Bridport, Dorset UK. Attended by many and more than half of the copies that been donated to the bookshop were sold at a reduced price of £7.99. The fund resulted from the sale was donated to the Chrisitian charities at Bridport

1. What are the problems that can be counseled using the model?

A.Crisis intervention including bereavement and post traumatic stress disorder.

B.Marriage and family problems including divorce and second marriage 

C.All kind of addictions.

D.Depression and anxiety. 

2.How can I get training if I decide to be a biblical counselor?

    In UK there are CCEF/UK training courses either residents or on-line.

3. What are the advange and disadvantage of mixing psychology with the Scripture?

This question been answered in details pointing to the chapters of the book that deal with this issue.

4.Had Jay Adams mentioned about the charismatic  gifts of the Spirit in his model or his teaching?

 Jay Adams says that the charismatic  gifts were only for the apostles and early church not now. In doing that he missed out the benefits of these gifts in counseling.
